There is no higher priority to the entire RAPS family than the health and safety of our members, customers, partners, and employees. We continue to closely monitor developments in the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and follow guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO), as well as other relevant authorities.
Certainty seems to be a luxury that we have very little of these days. Part of RAPS' response to this situation includes working with our expert faculty to optimize the curricula for our one- and two-day in-person workshops for virtual delivery - as of 31 March, all RAPS workshops for the following six months will be offered as virtual events. During these times of uncertainty, this shift allows us to ensure that the regulatory community continues to have access to the same high-quality education programs regardless of any changes or disruptions that may be occurring regionally.
There may be an isolated event or two that are seen as exemptions to that general policy. These exemptions would generally be based on the timing of the event, the planned program curriculum, and the intended learning objectives for the program. We are working with our partners, instructors, and committees to quickly identify those exemptions and communicate those to you.
Our premier in-person events are set to go on as planned with appropriate health precautions in place:
- Euro Convergence – 11-13 May 2020
- RAPS Executive Development Program at the Kellogg School of Management – 17-20 May 2020
- RAPS Convergence – 15-17 September 2020
With respect to these events - we continue to monitor the changes in this global situation and will make modifications to the programs as necessary. Again, we understand that predictability and consistency is valued by our community and, should any changes to these programs be necessary, we seek to provide you with as much time and awareness as possible.
We understand that you still may have reservations about committing to attend a conference given the evolving situation with COVID-19. To alleviate this concern, we would like to share with you a special offer that can help you register with confidence.
We will waive the standard cancellation fee for all existing and any new registrations until this situation passes. In the unlikely event you register and need to cancel, you will be able to apply your registration to any other RAPS event taking place in the next 12 months.
Finally, RAPS Online University remains a vital resource for our members to identify and address specific regulatory gaps with self-paced, rigorous content geared toward regulatory professionals at all career levels.
RAPS is committed to helping our members and customers expand their understanding of the regulatory field and develop their professional competencies. We will continue to adapt and improve our offerings to provide you with confidence that the resources you need to succeed will always be available.
