18-24 April is National Volunteer Week. RAPS is recognizing some its wonderful volunteers for all of their dedication and hard work. Get to know them each day this week with a Q&A below and check out the RAPS Volunteer Program to learn more and get involved.
RAPS Volunteer Spotlight: @Ashley Clark
- What has been your favorite RAPS volunteer experience? My favorite RAPS volunteer experience so far was writing RAC exam questions. It's nice to be able to contribute in a significant way to the certification process. People who do the work know what competencies are required for the work. Authoring and justifying relevant questions helps qualified professionals achieve this certification.
- How has being a RAPS volunteer benefited you? I have been able to build credibility in the field through my volunteer experience with RAPS.
- What do you love about the regulatory profession? What I love about the regulatory profession is the exposure to cross functional work and the need to understand and touch many aspects of the medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturing businesses.
- What would we find on your desk right now? Bubbly seltzer water, a card from my spouse, and some drawings and toys from my kids :)
- What was the last TV show you watched from start to finish? Schitt's Creek
- Where is the first place you'd like to travel once the world 'opens back up'? Anywhere in Europe!
