On behalf of RAPS, I'm thankful for the ultimate willingness of my colleagues in the forum to always provide their best available advice on situations where I may not be expert.  I can't tell you how much I learn just from reading some of the responses in the different areas in my daily digest each morning at work.  And to think that all of the responses generally come from people who are in potentially competitive companies but the members of the community are such that they willingly provide assistance to others in the field who might be going through exactly the same situation that they found themselves in at some point in their career - it proves that the industry wants to be the best industry in the world - just takes a little bit of willingness to provide assistance when requested.  I know I have asked a few questions in my time in the community and have likely answered hundreds - sometimes with specific expertise, sometimes with just my gut reaction based on my limited understanding of the situation - but I also truly look forward to when someone corrects either a misunderstanding or a misinterpretation of the relevant documents!

On behalf of RAPS, I'm thankful for …making available this forum as a valuable resource providing RA professionals with a wealth of knowledge and highlighting areas of current relevance or tricky issues being faced. As Victor has so elegantly extolled the virtues, there is little left for me to add except to agree that member participation has been phenomenal, even when the response could greatly benefit potential competitors. It is this willingness to share their expertise and educate fellow members that is truly impressive. May the force be with you!

Finally, I am no great fan of Anonymous posts - although I understand there could be good reasons for raising/ addressing matters of concern without direct identification – and would like to see use of such opacity reserved for the most sensitive topics.
