    Hi RegEx,

If you haven't already heard, RAPS is excited to welcome our newest Chapter: Ontario! To join or learn more visit https://connect.raps.org/ontario/home.

Join the Ontario Chapter on Friday, 25 September 2020 from 12 - 1 PM Eastern time for their Virtual Kick-off Networking Lunch!

During this networking session, they will introduce the RAPS Ontario Chapter mission, plan for the year, and play a little Kahoot game. It is advised to download the Kahoot app on your computer or your smart device prior to the meeting.

Please join the Ontario Chapter via RingCentral at the link: https://meetings.ringcentral.com/j/1494228056

Due to technical limitations that are beyond our control, we apologize in advance to participants number 101 and up, should we reach the maximum number of possible participants. The live event is limited to the first 100 attendees. For additional attendees and those who are not able to join, we will be recording the event for your benefit.

Bring your lunch and meet your Professional RA/QA network!

    Best,
    Annie

To all those intending to participate (spoiler alert - good thing this is not hockey or movies):

    1. No matter how you intend to participate - smart-phone or laptop - install RingCentral on your device ahead of the meeting.
Open the meeting from within the app - it works a lot better than if you open it from the browser.
    2. As Annie indicated in her message, please Install also Kahoot on your smartphone - the interactive part of the meeting will need you to answer some questions.
Having that app installed on your phone will allow you to choose and submit what you think is the correct answer the fastest way.
Take my word for it - you will want to be the winner of this "game".
(Ontario leadership team - our participation in the game is "hors concours" - sorry.)
    3. As soon as you log-in and you are in the meeting, please mute yourselves (click the microphone button to show a line across it).
Doing so right away will allow us to proceed with the meeting without telephony interference that we all know by now how unpleasant it is.
If you want to ask a question, un-mute, ask the question, and then mute back.
Thank you for your cooperation with this!

Hope to "see" you all on Friday!
    Thank you.
