Join regulatory colleagues from your region for an evening of networking and an expert presentation on a recently passed bill affecting drug and medical device manufacturers,the 21st Century Cares Act.

The 21st Century Cures Act, signed into law in December 2016, is sweeping bipartisan legislation intended to advance the research and development of new therapies and diagnostics and makes substantial federal investments in a wide range of healthcare priorities. The "Cures Act" set forth a bold agenda for the Food and Drug Administration and its administrative authority. It is imperative for drug and medical device manufacturers to understand the immediate impacts of the Cures Act as well as the future regulatory impact of new regulations and policies implemented by FDA. During this session, participants will learn about these new laws and regulations, upcoming administrative actions and will have an opportunity to discuss the impact of the Trump administration on the drug and medical device industries.
