RAPS Chicago Chapter: Tips for Coping With Change

Wednesday, March 22, 2017, 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM ET

Join your regulatory colleagues from your region for an evening of networking and an interactive presentation on Change Management. The program is brought to you by the RAPS Chicago Chapter and is intended to promote knowledge sharing and engagement with other in the local regulatory community.

One constant in our lives is change. Whether positive or negative, change is never easy. Change is something that can just happen, or change is something that we can proactively prepare and plan for. This interactive presentation will cover the importance of managing change just like you would any project (e.g.  create a plan; allow time for emotional behaviors; establish achievable goals).  We will share some great tools, methodologies, and terminology to help people, leaders, employees, and employers successfully achieve their change goals.

Specific topics to be covered include:

  • Principals of change
  • Change, adaptation and behaviors
  • Leadership in the change cycle
  • Methodology and communication

Dinner will be provided. RAC holders may claim two RAC recertification credits. Contact RAPS Solutions Center at +1 301 770 2920, ext. 200, or email raps@raps.org to learn about the special student registration rate.
