Anurag Sharma, DVM, MVSc, PhD, DACVM, RAC

Anurag is an Instructor of Genetic Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medicine at New York, NY. He is a pre-clinical researcher with primary interest in biologics, in particular, vaccines development and gene therapy. Anurag has developed, characterized and investigated several novel adenoviral vectors for the generation of various vaccine candidates against infectious diseases such as pseudomonas, respiratory syncytial virus and cancer gene therapy. Anurag has authored more than 20 research articles and book chapters in peer-reviewed journals.

Anurag holds a bachelors' degree in Veterinary Sciences (DVM) and masters' degree in Animal Biotechnology from India and PhD in Molecular Virology from Purdue University, USA. He is also a board certified diplomate of American College of Veterinary Microbiologists (ACVM) with specializations in Virology and Immunology.

Anurag attained regulatory affairs certification (RAC-US) in 2016 and he has a keen interest in regulatory affairs to advance public health and contribute to control the safety and efficacy of biological products such as human and animal vaccines, gene and cellular therapies and biosimilars.
