Thank you to the RAPS Volunteer Thought Leaders who volunteered their time over the past two days to help plot a course for  future engagement, which is important to our organization and the entire regulatory community.

Thank you for asking me to participate! It was a lot of fun getting to know other thought leaders better and we came up with LOADS of exciting ideas for chapter activities and knowledge sharing. I look forward to working with you all to put our ideas into action.

    Lena,

Ideas have little or no value unless and until it is put into action as I say below.

I had the privilege to observe this group in action for a half day. So impressed with the passion, dedication and energy. It was inspiring to be in the room with these leaders who are ambassadors for RAPS advancing the regulatory profession at the grass roots level. No doubt that their enthusiasm, ideas and the new RAPS tools will attract more professionals to volunteer and become engaged!

    Heba,

I believe the RAPS offers volunteer opportunities and others can even nominate others for the opportunity!

You may contact Wesley Carr, Volunteer Relations Manager.

Thanks so much for your interest... RAPS is a volunteer driven organization and we’re always looking for ways to get more members involved. We’re currently in the process of implementing a new component of the Regulatory Exchange Platform what will make it easy for volunteers to find opportunities that are convenient, meaningful and rewarding. To find out more about volunteering for RAPS, simply follow the instructions below:

    1. If you are not already there go to connect.raps.org
    2. Click “Participate” on the top menu bar
    3. Then click “Volunteer”

From there you will be able to view our current opportunities. I encourage you to complete both your volunteer and member profile, as those demographics are what will be used to match future opportunities with the interests and skill sets of volunteers. You can also contact me directly so we can continue this discussion offline.

Thank you again for your interest and I look forward to helping you get more engaged with the RAPS Global Community.

    Best Regards!
    WES

Dear chapter leaders, what a great experience to be part of this group last week! It's inspiring what you have established in North America to provide local networking and training opportunities, to support each other as well as the regulatory profession in general. We'll definitely learn from the best as we strive to expand RAPS presence in Europe :o)

Thanks for your leadership & enthusiasm - and thanks to RAPS for bringing us all together!

    Best,

    Beate

It was a productive meeting indeed!    I enjoyed meeting and having the opportunity to interact and learn from chapter leaders and the RAPS team about the new tools that will be be used to help educate and promote the RA profession.
