  • 1.  Dec. 19 FDA Meeting on Pharmacy Compounding

    Does anyone know if there is an immediately-accessible archived version of today's FDA meeting on pharmacy compounding?

    The meeting was webcast, but I could not sit in on it and would like to listen to it before the transcript is available, which won't be for a few weeks.

    Michael,

    I saw the FDA Webcast on Wednesday and you really did not miss anything.  I think the NY Times article did a decent recap.  http://www.nytimes.com/2012/12/20/health/fda-and-states-meet-about-regulation-of-drug-compounders.html?_r=0

    Much more interesting would have been to hear the dialogue from the individual states prior to the public session.  From a regulatory perspective I think we can count on new legislation for Pharmacy Compounding.  I think the proposal from FDA on the Tiered Approach is rational.  It will be interesting to see where this all shakes out.
