    This doesn't directly address your question, but this may be of help to your quest of tracking changes of standards (e.g., superseded or withdrawn or updated) as for the FDA status of recognition.

    Thank you for replying.

    In the meantime I've figured it out. If you search for the standard along with the keywords "Federal Register" in some cases it brings up a result with the recognition number of the withdrawm FDA recognized standard.

    So you were definitely on the right track.
