    Hello,

I am new to RAPS and new to this forum, so please excuse me if this post is not in the right area, or if this topic has been covered already.

I am planning on sitting for the RAC (US) exam in November, and I am looking for some advice on the best prep tools to purchase. Currently, I am comparing the RAC Exam prep package (this consists of the book Fundamentals of US Regulatory Affairs (8th ed.) and one complete RAC (US) on-line practice exam) vs. the three-part webcast that is being offered right now. Any suggestions? Do you think it is wise to purchase both?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

    Hi Jason,
I have the same plans you do, but I'm probably a month ahead of you. I purchased the basic package and so far I'm satisfied with what I got and the progress I'm making. I've completed about 200 pages and feel that the comprehensiveness of the book is excellent. I expect to take the first practice exam in about 3 weeks and begin my second round of study after that.

It's difficult to believe that webcasts would provide additional content, however if you have difficulty getting the material to stick when based only on a textbook then the webcasts might be of value.

    Regards,
    Roy
