Anvisa opened a public consultation in July (26/2013) regarding a proposal to permit the production of veterinary pharmaceuticals, medical devices, cosmetics and toiletries in the same manufacturing site where human medicines are produced. Is anyone aware of the outcome of the public consultation, or if this is still being actively discussed? I am seeking information specifically around changes to allow the manufacture of veterinary products in a shared environment with human pharmaceuticals. Any information on this topic is appreciated.
