I anticipate taking the RAC- US exam this fall.
I am in the process of developing an informal hyperlinked document with resources for the various sub-topics and hope to have it ready by March 1, when I intend to start preparing. There is no guarantee that what I am working on will assure success with the RAC, only that it would provide a starting point.
My opinion is that it would make sense to study / brush up on the pre-marketing and post-marketing domains prior to addressing the strategy domain.
I've signed up for a free AnyMeeting account which allows for six-way video conferencing. For this reason alone I would like to be part of a group with no more than six members; I also find that if there are more than that, the discussion aspect gets lost. Ideally the group would have a mix of experience from the device and pharmaceutical sectors, from Quality and Science, etc, so that members can offer insights from their own experience during a group review of the material and we can learn from each other.
I figure we should meet twice a week for at least 90 minutes to review material covered since the last meeting. I anticipate that there may be logistics challenges as far as finding time slots that will work for all members.Those who work may or may not be able to make time available depending on their employers so we will have to see whether online meetings would be during regular working hours or after hours / on weekends. Also we may be dealing with varying time zones.
If you want to join me please send me a message and give me an idea of where you see your strengths. My own experience is heavily weighted toward 510(k) as well as import requirements for foreign establishments and my background is in engineering / science.
What I might do is create a distribution list in the event that more than six people respond so that we can organize ourselves into groups according to the convenience of the individuals.
