As most of you are probably aware, RAPS is currently conducting the 2014 Scope of Practice & Compensation Survey of the Regulatory Profession. We do this every two years, and it gives us a lot of useful information about the salaries, job responsibilities and demographics of regulatory professionals all over the world. This is insight we will share with you this summer, and completing the survey allows you to be among the first to get the results. RACs earn one recertification point for participation. If you haven't yet taken the survey, you can do it now at http://ow.ly/tSl3t.

If you have already completed the Scope of Practice survey, thank you! Please and pass the word along to your regulatory colleagues. More responses mean better data. If you wish to opt out of receiving future emails about the survey, simply fill out the form.

While we're on the topic of surveys, we recently learned of two student surveys you may also be interested in. The first is from a group of students at Keck Graduate Institute, focusing on how biopharmaceutical companies use formal and informal interactions with FDA to assist with the development of their products: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/KGI.

The second is from a student at Harvard University Extension School working on a master's thesis "Exploring the Development and Regulatory Strategy for Biosimilars Compared to Small Molecule Generics." His survey examines how regulatory specialists feel about the future of biosimilars: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1nU7sjS1K5GhQLkBgRLd9AUlVOJ9WME3CSSiPpC-20Kw/viewform.

I know these students would appreciate your insight as well.
