What different activities/seminars can get 36 hours of recertification credits to maintain the RAC without spending too much money on registration fees?

Hi Malini. Have you looked at RAPS' RAC Recertification Guide? It lists a number of examples of RAC-credit activities, a number of which do not require hefty fees or expenses. Find the guide online at http://raps.org/uploadedFiles/PDF_Assets/RAC_docs/RAC%20Recertification%20Guide.pdf

Hello....CDRH Learn webinars can count. Any free webinar counts.  Training required by your company counts. I have used anything free and relevant to satisfy this requirement.  I've been RAC Certified since 2004.

You may also want to look into activities at your local RAPS chapter. There is an active NY/NJ chapter and they hold several events per year. Though not free, chapter events are usually low priced, and it's a great opportunity to network. See the chapter website for more info.

    Malini,

    Thanks Jen for the introduction.

I am the Chair of the NJ/NY RAPS Chapter and invite you to attend our educational programming on April 21 (Biosimilars) and May 19 (Preparing for a FDA Advisory Committee) at the Bridgewater Manor. Each one of these events is worth 2 RAC credits. As others have said, you can also use the CDRH or FDA Regulatory Education for Industry (REdi) conferences to obtain recertification credits. The recent 2-day labeling conference (which is free) was worth up to 12 credits. If you attend other professional conferences (RAPS Annual Convergence, DIA Annual Meeting, AAPS, PDA....) these also qualify as points towards certification. As Zach suggested, read through the Recertification Guide for examples.
