We performed a USP Spectral Transmission test for HDPE bottles of different size, using calibrated UV-Visible Spectrophotometer, as per <USP 661.2> method and <g class="gr_ gr_6 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling ins-del" id="6" data-gr-id="6">at</g> the wavelength range of 290 nm to about 320nm.
Generally, the transmission should not be negative, but from our results, it was found that half of the data was found negative (as shown here).
And we could not find any reason why those data were found negative.
Can anyone have any idea how to solve this problem of getting Negative data for spectral transmission?
