Question: We are setting up a facility to conduct manufacturing of a sterile product. For reference purposes think of an orthopedic screw. Sterilization will be done by an outside firm and we will manufacture, clean and pack the product. Previously we have utilized an outside service that is within 1 mile of our site for all BI testing and swab testing. It made losts of sense, but our costs are not making us happy! We are considering moving this in-house. We would hire a microbiologist and setup a lab. The question for the group is what equipment comes to mind for the lab?
