  • 1.  Suggestions for Studying for RAC

Good morning all.  First time posting here.  I recently took the RAC Medical Device exam and came 2 points away from passing (knowing the points don't represent a particular number of questions right/wrong due to the scoring methodology employed).

I studied the Fundamentals of Med Device Regulations, paid for the on-line available practice exams and study material (which I 100% reviewed), and still came up a couple of points short.  I live in the Greater Boston area, and was wondering if anyone may be able to suggest any resources that I may be missing.

I've spent my career (25+ years) primarily on the Quality/Quality Systems/Supplier Quality side of things, so I'm wondering if the exam is something that simply becomes easier once an individual has had more "hands on" experience.  Open to any and all suggestions!

    Thanks,
    Brad

    Hi Brad,

    you're nearly there!!

Best to connect to your local RAPS chapter, as they might well be organising prep-meetings. Most US chapters do, or they might refer you to a nearby chapter.

You can also check the chapters page on the RAPS website

on to a passing score next time!!
