3D printing and medical devices

    Hello everyone,

    Is anyone aware of application of 3D printing in Medical Devices. Our company ( a manufacture of dental devices) is planning to expand into 3D printing. I came across a guidance document on additive manufacturing from FDA, but has anyone actually done any submissions for clearance of these devices. Any applicable standards which might be helpful. 

    Any guidance from the forum members is truly appreciated.
