    Dear audience,
Marocco requires a CeMin marking since the 1st February 2020 - does anybody know if it is also required for electrical medical devices?

I found the two scources telling the following:

    1. Marking CeMim compulsory on electrical products and toys, pursuant to orders no.-2573-14 (electrical safety), 2574-14 (Electromagnetic Compatibility), 2575-14 (safety of toys) and 3228-13 (marking).

    2.  Order 2573-14 (similar to the EU Low Voltage Directive : electrical safety): low-voltage electrical equipment designed for the use at a voltage rating 50-1000V for alternating current (AC) and 75-1500 V for direct current (DC), excluding electrical materials used in ATEX zone, electro medical devices, lifts and parts of, electric meter, electric fencing devices, electric equipment designed for use on plane, trains, boat/vessel.

Can somebody share the insides on this, thanks
    Frank

There is some information in English on the Morocco website: http://www.mcinet.gov.ma/en/content/products-subject-technical-regulations-requiring-c%D9%85-mark

The rules appear similar to the EU EMC and LV directives.

The EMC document (http://www.mcinet.gov.ma/pdf/5-Arrete-CEM-BO_6404_Fr.pdf ) Article 3 point 4 says it doesn't apply to medical devices.

    The LV document (http://www.mcinet.gov.ma/pdf/3-Arrete-LVD-BO_6404_Fr.pdf )
