What has been the highlight of your career over the last ten years?
The highlight over the last 10 years has been helping device and drug companies succeed in Asia.
What makes you most excited about working in regulatory affairs?
Each Asian country has its own challenging RA regulations so helping Western companies succeed in Asia is exciting and makes the work interesting.
What is your #1 reason for becoming a RAPS member?
I have been a RAPS member for 20 years. I started the first Asian RAPS Conference and very much enjoy the learning and networking opportunities.
What is your favorite part about RegEx?
My favorite part about RegEx is learning more about regulations around the world.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Since I have been involved in Asia for 40 years, including working with my own company for 33 years, I enjoy going to Europe for vacation.
What food could you not live without?
Sushi
What is your go-to karaoke song?
Let It Be by the Beatles
What piece of advice would you tell yourself in 2011?
Westerners need to get more knowledgeable about Asia and Asian cultures in order to succeed there.
Favorite book you’ve read this year?
Barack Obama’s new book, A Promised Land
