19-25 April is National Volunteer Week. RAPS is recognizing some its wonderful volunteers for all of their dedication and hard work. Get to know them each day this week with a Q&A below and check out the RAPS Volunteer Program to learn more and get involved.
Theresa Gubler
- What has been your favorite RAPS volunteer experience? At our annual networking event (this year BioFire hosted) in January we ran a raffle – if you created your RAPS Utah chapter profile, or updated your existing profile, you were entered to win a Bose wireless headset. It was so much fun to introduce RegEx to people for the first time, and see our membership #s grow!
- How has being a RAPS volunteer benefitted you? Professionally: I love being part of growing our RAPS Utah chapter, and thus strengthening the Utah life sciences ecosystem! Personally: I have developed relationships I will have for my entire life!
- What would we find on your desk right now? A cedar & pine-scented candle, lip balm and cell phone.
- Do you prefer coffee or tea? Tea, but only strong black tea.
- What has been your favorite quarantine hobby? Believe it or not, organizing my closets (I channel Monica Gellar from Friends)!
- What do you love about the regulatory profession? The high level of dedication, organization and continuous growth I see in my regulatory colleagues.
