Spring exam

    Hi all ,
    I am based in LA and I was wondering if there is  a study group to prepare the RAC US exam for the coming spring .
    Unfortunately I didn`t pass the fall session and I think could be helpful for me be a part of a group study to review my exam preparation.

    Hi ​Tiziana,

    there would not be region wise RAC exam from 2020 onwards, you need to take either drugs or device exam. I recently took RAC (Drugs) in Fall and got the certificate. Please reach out to me, if you need specific help.

    I was also looking for a study group for the exam.  I would like to take the exam at some point this year and it would be good to have a study group.  Perhaps for those of us that are interested, we could form a group and schedule regular meetings.

    Greetings All!

    Thank you for the responses!  It is good to know there are some members in the forum that are interested in collaborating for the exam.  Below is a list of people that expressed interest in a study group.  It seems most people are interested in the drugs subject with two members wanting to the device portion of the exam.


    Just wanting to gather some ideas as to how and when we can collaborate and create our study group.  I have not researched this yet but please share any thoughts or suggestions as to how we can have a teleconference.  Some of my thoughts are below and would love to hear some of your suggestions.

    • Set up some type of teleconference where we can regularly meet and discuss the various topics on the exam
    • Weekly scheduled sessions; once or twice a week?
    • Use the RAC study guide that outlines each section and the various topics in each section to direct our weekly sessions
    Please feel free to comment and provide your suggestions.  I would love to hear your thoughts.

    Hey all!

    I think we should meet maybe twice a week to accommodate those who want to take the exam in the spring. I am not sure if we want to take a few chapters that we all focus on or split it up and create study guides along with a few exam like questions. Why dont we shoot for meeting tomorrow evening or wednesday evening. What works for everyone as I know we all live in different areas. I'm on the east coast.

    I am also copying min as an interested participant for a study group as well.

    We could try Google Hangouts to set up the Study sessions. I have not tried it out yet but I think it is free for anyone with a Google account. You can also invite users who don't have a Google/Gmail account. The advantage may be the ability to share files via Google Drive and schedule events using Google Calendar. Another option is Whatsapp which would be more for messaging as group calls are limited to 4 people.

    I suggest that everyone provides what time zone there in and from there we can figure out a suitable time for everyone.
