    • What do you love about the regulatory profession?
      • I have a passion for solving problems and helping navigate product development for global approval.  I have always enjoyed the Regulatory Intelligence area for the regulatory profession.  It is kind of like being a detective.
    • What would we find on your desk right now?
      • FDA guidances, ISO 13485:2016 Standard, AATB Standard, RAPS US and EU Fundamentals Books.
    • What are you reading right now?
      • I joined my first book club and am reading Educated. A Memoir by Tara Westover.  I just finished The Detective Gamache by Louise Penny book series and hoping for more books to be added to the series.  This series takes place in the province of Quebec, Canada where most of my relatives live, so it helps me feel closer to home when reading them.
    • What does being a RAPS volunteer mean to you?
      • I love to meet people, especially other regulatory professionals who love this field.  Being a volunteer has also provided me the opportunity to mentor enthusiastic young adults trying to break into the profession.  It has been enjoyable to show them how each step in their education or career path can be one step closer to obtaining their goal.
    • What are you most looking forward to this year?
      • I am looking forward to starting a new professional chapter (Consulting after more than 22 years in industry; 9 years in academia) which permits me to work more in the Regulatory Intelligence, the segment of the regulatory profession for which I am most passionate about.  I am also looking forward to meeting more/new people and learning something new every day.  In addition, I am looking forward to a better work/home life balance after having long commutes for most of my professional life.
