As Rainer states your participation, as a RAPS member, in the bylaws vote is essential to the process. You can vote 'yes' to adopt the change or 'no' to oppose adoption or 'abstain' if you do not have a preference either way.
As a reminder please use this link to read the proposal and record your vote:
RAPS.org/VOTEParticipating in the process takes less than a couple of minutes, but, your participation is vital to RAPS.
Please take time to participate and ensure RAPS receives your input.
Many thanks.

Subject: Bylaws Change: Vote Yes or Vote No, But Please Vote!
I have been very interested to read the spirited discussion of the current, proposed bylaws change that has been taking place here on RegEx. I'm not surprised that there are some strong opinions being expressed, and regardless of whether I personally agree or disagree with any particular viewpoint on this specific proposal, I have to say I find it encouraging to hear from members who are passionate about RAPS and take a real interest in its continued success and improvement. It really is members who make this association what it is.
This is why I want to strongly encourage all members to vote on the current proposal. Whether you vote in favor of or against the proposed change, I hope that anyone who values RAPS will take the time to cast their vote. I fully agree with those who have emphasized the importance of RAPS representing members, which is why it is critically important that that the votes cast reach the quorum threshold of 10% of voting members. If we don't have enough members vote, then it will be all the more difficult for RAPS to carry out members' wishes.
