  • 1.  EURO Convergence 2020 - Attending departing from the US

    Good Afternoon, 

    Me and a coworker had been planning on attending the 2020 EURO Convergence in Belgium in October, but are unsure if it will be possible considering the travel restrictions in place for US residents. 

    Based on the Travel Restrictions in place as of today, we could not find any reasonable way to justify our trip as an essential travel, therefore we would not be able to attend.

    I assume there are quite a few people on here that are planning on attending, if at all possible. So I was wondering if anyone has a different view than ours.

    Any thoughts?

    Matheus,

    To provide some preliminary information being a member of the Euro Convergence 2020 conference committee, it was determined because of many travel restrictions and having large groups of people in one place, the conference will be held virtually.  There will be official information published shortly as the conference will be held remotely/virtually, so if you were already planning to be an attendee would still be able to attend.

    Hello Matheus,

    I was scheduled to speak at the Europe Conference in October. I received an email from one of the conference organizers. They are going 100% virtual. I don't know if they annouced it. Speaker had to know earlier so we can update slides as they reorganize the schedule
