  • 1.  Local Chapter RAPS Meetings

    Does anyone know of any RAPs chapter meetings held in the Bay Area, California (San Jose/San Francisco)? I have sent numerous messages to RAPs and am getting absolutely no response at all (except for people outside the Bay Area, California).

     

    If there are no San Jose/San Francisco chapter meetings, then I will be cancelling my membership as the entire reason I joined was to attending meetings with presentations and to network. So far, for the last six months, this has been a complete waste of my money.

     

    Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

    If you haven't already had the chance, I recommend checking out your local Chapter's homepage.  Here is a link:  http://connect.raps.org/sanfrancisco/home?ssopc=1

    There they list upcoming events (nationally and locally).  For example, I noted one upcoming in your area on Thursday, April 13, 2017: "RAPS San Francisco Chapter: Recent Bioequivalence Studies With CMC Implications for Pre- and Postapp".

    Here is some more information for that Chapter, where you can probably learn more information about upcoming programs:

    Rumor has it RAPS will be evolving toward a more chapter friendly organization than it has been in the past.  Clearly your experience tells us that it's not there yet, but if that's what you are looking for, hang in there a little longer.  Time will tell.
