    Hello all,

In order to maintain my RAC credentials, I am attending webinars which provides 1-2 credits towards my re-certification. Just wondering what do I need to upload when I self-declare my credits.

    Thanks!

I have the same question because i pay for them, attend and then enter the completion code in the learning portal and THEN IT does not register in the portal.

Very very frustrating.  Not going to repeatedly going to  go back in and retry. Something is buggy with those codes.

    Hello All,

If you don't have 36 credits entered into the new electronic system then you will need to enter your recertification credits using the [LOG YOUR CREDIT HOURS ONLINE] button on the RAPS recertification page (Recertification | RAPS).  Once you have 36 hours you will be able to purchase the recertification which is necessary to continue with the process.  Here is what the help desk sent me.  I followed the instructions and it worked.  Be patient it isn't the most straightforward process.

    Receipt Request

    Dear Will,

Thank you for your email. The system is not allowing your to renew because you have only added 1.5 credits to your online tracker. You would add points by clicking on the green button. Once you have 36 available credits then you would be able to purchase the renewal by clicking on Get this Product. Step by step instructions and a video are listed here, https://www.raps.org/rac-credential/prepare/rac-prep-tools.

Thanks Will, for sharing this RAPS Customer Service feedback.  I received the same.  I just went through this recertification process myself.  I agree, it is not the most straightforward process.  Wouldn't it be great, if the RAPS website that keeps track of the course credits we receive in one location, would also then populate these course credits in a recertification section of the website as well ...or the two could be merged into one section, where a 'course credit dashboard' would keep track of how close you are to recertification and then it automatically prompts you to recertify, when enough credits are received?  If not, thousands of RAPS members have to take the time to do so (which goes against the RAPS.org and given RAPS member common goal, of getting the recertification process done).  I know our field is all about documentation, but the transcription of records is usually a waste of time (and leads to errors).  Otherwise, I appreciate the RAPS courses, and especially the Discussion Board (with excellent feedback from so many).  I hope you all have a good weekend!

I have found that usually a certificate that shows proof of attendance is enough.
