    Hello,

I am interested in finding an entry-level regulatory job so I can start gaining experience in this field. Most regularity jobs I apply to require some kind of regulatory experience which I don't have. I have a B.S in Chemistry, M.S in project management and I am working on my doctorate in healthcare administration degree. I've been working as a chemist/scientist over the past five years. I've thought about applying for the RAC certificate, but I really like to see myself gaining working experience in this field before academically advancing myself.

Can you please give me any suggestions on how people start this career? I have a scientific background and I am progressing toward healthcare management which includes compliance and regulatory jobs. Our school provides a course on health laws and ethics, but I don't think it's the same as learning about regulatory knowledge. I am interested in a regulatory position at a medical device / pharmaceutical company.

I will truly appreciate your advice.
    Thanks

Thanks for this, I have been in regulatory (food and cosmetics) for the past 2 years but have been recently pursing the RAPS certificate and looking to switch into pharmaceuticals. I live locally to morristown, NJ. I happy to see companies are looking for entry level candidates.

Fareeha Rizvi,  DynaFlex is actively recruiting for a Quality & Regulatory Specialist.  It is posted on RAPS Careers if you would like to apply.  Even though you don't have regulatory experience, your academic background sounds solid so please submit your application via RAPS or reach out to me directly with your resume.  maureenm@dynaflex.com

    Thanks, Maureen,

Sounds like a wonderful opportunity. I wish I was the lucky candidate for this job. Unfortunately, it's hard for me to relocate due to my husband's job.

But thanks again for taking the time to respond to my request.

    Thanks, Meg,
I found plenty of great opportunities at Stryker. I am very much interested in applying for the ones I am best suited for. Yes, please do tell me more about this company. What's the best way to get them noticed my application or if I can get in touch with a recruiter?
Thanks again! This is extremely helpful.
