  • 1.  Any DABT toxicologist who have taken RAC?

    Posted 03-Feb-2021 09:39
    Hi all
I am a toxicologist at a pharmaceutical company and recently completed the regulatory affairs certificate program from RAPS. I am interested in knowing if there are any board certified toxicologist on the group who have taken RAC (Regulatory affairs certification). I am looking to see if RAC has any value if I do not intend to get in RA and what kind of material did they study for RAC?
    Thanks
    Sim

    Hi Smita,

I am a Board certified Toxicologist who has recently passed RAC. I see that acquiring knowledge in RA apart from your expertise in Toxicology would enable one to flourish well as a comprehensive preclinical developmental professional. It also depends on which industry you are currently in (for e.g., new molecules, generics or reformulated products etc). Regarding material used to prepare RAC, I referred the book available in RAPS and also various guidance from FDA, EMA, ICH and WHO. Kindly let me know if you need more information

    All the best
