    Dear Colleagues, 

    After two long years, the RAPS Vancouver Chapter is delighted to host our first (virtual) event since the pandemic started. Longtime friend to the Vancouver Chapter, Daryl Wisdahl and his colleague René van de Zande of MedEnvoy will discuss the important topic of Economic Operators in the EU MDR/IVDR world and the compliance hurdles posed by Brexit (UK) and Swixit (Switzerland). 

    This virtual event will be held on April 7 at 5 pm Pacific, 8 pm Eastern and is free to RAPS members. I hope you can join us, we have missed seeing your smiling faces!

    I just want to confirm, as am from India the timings for me to attend will be 

    April 8th 5AM

    Am I correct?

    Because I do not want to miss this topic, am working on the same thing so I want clarity on this  topic.

    I am so happy you're interested in joining us! Today I learned that there are 3 timezones in India. The event will start at 5 pm Pacific Daylight Time (UTC/GMT -7 hours), which translates to 5:30 am in most of India. 

    Other conversions: 

    7 pm Chicago
    8 pm New York
    9 pm Rio de Janeiro
    1 am London
    2 am Berlin/Paris
    8 am Hong Kong
    9 am Tokyo/Seoul

    Good news! RAPS will be recording the event and the webcast will be available 48 hours after the event on the webcast microsite (limited to 2 weeks) and on the RAPS portal. 

    Also, I should have added that the times listed as 'am' would be on Friday April 8. So we may get participants from the FUTURE!
