    Hello,

We are in the process of updating our air quality system for compounding to be compliant with OSHA's requirements for making hand sanitizer (working with alcohol).

My question is, in the meantime while we get this set up, are fitting the employees with respirator masks an acceptable short term solution?

I would suggest that you reference this link for Ethanol Processing for OSHA:  https://www.osha.gov/dts/osta/otm/otm_iv/otm_iv_5.html

In case you are unaware, respirator fit test require medical exam not just an in-house fitting.

    Good Luck!
