    Hi Everyone,

Thank you for joining us at RAPS Convergence in Philadelphia. We've already begun preparing a dynamic new program for Convergence, 12-15 September 2020 in San Antonio, TX and we would appreciate your feedback so we can continue to improve.

General and session-level evaluations are accessible in the mobile app or online by logging in with the email you used to register and your four digit registration ID. All participants who complete an evaluation will be entered for a chance to win a San Antonio gift basket and a complimentary registration for next year's event. One participant will be selected on 24 October 2019.

Thank you again for taking part in this important community event and for your support of RAPS.

    Dear Emily,
Thank you and the whole RAPS Team again for an outstanding Convergence. We are excited and looking forward to San Antonio. Our booth is booked again and I believe we are moving to our twentieth anniversary with being a Solution provider to the RAPS community.  Thank you for that.  It is always great to be there and I personally feel that I am coming home to my regulatory family.

Just one feedback.  I was not the only one to comment on the plastic everywhere.  Is it time to change!  The upcoming venues have been booked for several years and therefore we may not see any changes there.  However, for all the other stuff it would great to have an environmental eye on it.  I would be happy to volunteer to rate the goodies based on their environmental impact.  For example, a plastic bag may be a good choice if sturdy enough to be used several times.  A cotton bag probably would still beat that.

I completely agree with @Ludger Moeller! Some 'green' or eco-friendly suggestions:
    • replace the paper drink tickets with virtual tickets that can be scanned from the badge
    • encourage/incentivise exhibitors to give away eco-friendly tchotchkes
    • when offering the recycable vs landfill waste options (like Philly did!!), include examples that can go in each, especially when box lunches are provided
    • use biodegradable/plant-based (PLA) disposable cups
    • remove paper handouts from the bags - or provide a 'turn in' option for attendees return the ones they don't need/want
    • replace individual creamers & sugar packets with bulk options and plastic stir sticks with wooden ones (or fettucini noodles!!! - seriously :))

As always though, Convergence was amazing! I left completely exhausted, maxed out wiht networking, and my brain overloaded with ideas and new/reinforced knowledge. THANK YOU!!!

    Hello,
I agree with the above evaluations, and the suggestions to be more "green".
The sessions were wonderful, the networking opportunities were unparalleled, and it was a wonderful experience.
I filled out my evaluation regarding the sessions, but reading these comments made me want to share one minor suggestion, along the lines of the previous environmental ideas, relating to the box lunches.
At other conferences I have attended, the lunch team provided a "share table". Attendees could put any part of the lunch that they did not want on the table, ( e.g., I don't want the fruit) and it was available for anyone else who wanted it. At the end of the day, any leftover food (still in original packaging) was taken to a shelter, thus eliminating good food being put into the trash.
    Just a thought...
Thank you for all you do for the Regulatory community!

    Dear Ludger, Lena and Susan,

Thank you for sharing these great ideas about how we can consider ways to reduce our environmental impact at the conference. I have shared with the team so we can look at options for the future.

I agree it is important to choose cities and partners who are making efforts on this front. In case you are interested, below is a write-up on what the Pennsylvania Convention Center has done/is doing.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us as this is so valuable in helping us continue to improve.
