I am thrilled to be a part of this community and to connect with professionals in the field. I am a recent M.Sc. graduate in Chemistry, and have begun looking into regulatory medical writing as a career. I am eager to learn more about drug and biologics regulations in North America and the best practices to adhere to them.
I believe that regulations play a vital role in ensuring the safety and efficacy of medical products and treatments. Clinical trial regulations appeal to me, as I want to use my knowledge and skills in science to make a positive impact. In this pursuit, I have been studying the RAPS "Fundamentals of Pharmaceutical and Biologics" textbook and have enjoyed learning more about the complex processes involved. However, as a novice in the field, I know there is still so much to learn about this topic that cannot be learned in a textbook. That's why I would like to reach out to those with more experience in this area.
If you are a seasoned medical writer with experience in navigating these regulations in North America, I would love to hear from you. I am open to connecting over a virtual meeting or phone call to discuss your experience in the field, the challenges you faced, and how you have managed to overcome them. I am particularly interested in hearing your insights on how to best start a career in the field!
