    Hello!

My company is interested in testing a wireless device in a simulated operating room environment.  Are there any established standards that define the wireless environment that is present in the OR?  60601-1-2 testing will be performed, but guidance on specific levels that would be seen in the OR are highly appreciated.

    Thank you for your assistance.

    Hi Anonymous

You would be testing to ANSI C63.27:2021 as well as EMC standard for wireless testing under certain conditions.

You can reach out to UL to assist with this  UL helped me find Garrett Technologies Inc. They do this and medical device software... they set up the chamber with certain types of emitters (devices) that would typically be found in different environments.

    Very helpful. Good luck!
