It explains that Italian Environmental new obligations do not apply to medical devices.
Hope this can help.

Subject: QR code usage for Italian Environmental Labeling
Hello,
I'm currently working on EU Directive 2018/852 concerning Italian Decree 116 that updates the environmental labeling requirements. The solution I'm leaning towards is utilizing an identified QR code on the inside flap of the primary package that will link to the type of packaging , identification code of the packaging material, the material family, and information on the type of separate waste collection and an invitation to consumers to check their local municipal guidelines.
My question is in regard to a statement on Conai mention of a comment made by the Ministry of Ecological Transition "it is suggested that clear indications be provided on the packaging or at the point of sale on how the consumer can search for it through digital tools or websites."
1) Do directions on how to utilize the QR need to be provided? i.e. use your phone to scan.
2) Is the QR code identified with the mobius strip recycling symbol enough to meet this requirement?
3) What solutions to this have you used to meet this requirement?
