    Hello All:

I know that attending RAPS Convergence allow us to earn 12.0 RAC credits that go towards re-certification.  Does anyone know if I can earn RAC credits for attending FDA's multi-day Regulatory Education for Industry (REdI) Annual Connference or other industry-related conferences and if so, how many RAC credits can you earn?

    Happy Holidays!

    Hello Anon,

Check the RAC question and answer, but basically anything in the realm of medical devices or pharmaceuticals can be used for RAC credits for meeting re-certification.  When maintaining certifications, it is about keeping current with the industry, trends, and understanding of our industry.  So the simple answer is yes, the REdl conference can be used; I use it myself.  Generally it would be 1 hour = 1 RAC credit.  https://rapsprod.blob.core.windows.net/rapsk13/raps/media/rac-credential/resources/220203_rac_recertification_guide.pdf

    Hi,

Yes, you can claim RAC credit for attending the SBIA/FDA sponsored events.  It depends on the event as to how many hours you can claim.  You also need to attend real-time if virtual - listening after the fact doesn't count.  Always remember to get your certificate as proof of attendance.
