Who's going to the RAPS convergence 2023 in Montreal?

I'm excited to lead one of the solution circle session as my abstract, How to Improve Regulatory Interactions by Practicing Impromptu Speeches, was accepted.

I joined the Toastmasters Leadership Club (TLC) which meets virtually on Wednesdays at 7:00 a 8:30 pm PST. I think the Toastmasters's program can be beneficial to the Regulatory professionals.

Are there any other Toastmasters who agree with me?

Are you interested in joining a Toastmasters club? Curious what Toastmasters do?

If we create a club to meet virtually to focus on regulatory contents, are you interested?

I would like to hear your opinions!

    Thanks,

    Yoshiko,

This sounds really interesting.  It was actually suggested to me to join a Toastmasters club, but I haven't gotten around to it.  I think a virtual club to focus on regulatory is a brilliant idea.

Thank you, Elizabeth for your interest.

Toastmasters has a great program to improve public speaking and leadership skills. It's one of the most affordable trainings (about $60/6 months) with access to amazing resources including Yoodli, an AI web-based self-practice platform.

To form a new club, we need to collect about 20 people. Please invite your contacts.

I'm interested in meeting virtually once or twice a month for 1-1.5 hours early PST to accommodate global participants but I'm open to everyone's ideas.

A typical Toastmasters meeting consists of
    - 1 or 2 Prepared speeches, 5-7 minutes each
    - Evaluations, 2-3 minutes each + round robin (additional 2-3 minutes)
    - Table topic discussion (to practice impromptu speaking), 1-2 minutes each x 3-4 participants
    - In addition, we may consider having Regulatory topics, ex. new guidance/approvals/tips etc.
