Regulatory is like running (let's meet at EURO Convergence in Berlin)

    Hi all,

to meet the expectation created by the title: You constantly have to train (alone or in a group) to be up-to-speed regarding the demands of your surroundings. If you train less, you fall behind. If you train more, you become better. If you train constantly, you are likely to exceed your own expectations.

Sometimes it hurts. You might not always achieve what you are aiming for and there might also be blows that will push you back that are out of your control.

But in the end, it can be a lot of fun and there are many like-minded people.

(If you have read this as a Regulatory person, you could probably relate. If you read it as a runner - also. See! There are lot's of similarities)

RAPS EURO Convergence is around the corner and I am inviting participants to pack their running gear and meet up each morning before the conference starts to go for a run through beautiful Berlin. The conference location is close enough to some of the towns hot spots and it will be fun to explore them while running with RAPS fellows.

Let me know if you want to join. I am suggesting a 45-60 min run at a pace of approx. 5:30min/km. If there are a lot of people, we might even split in a slower and a faster group.

I look forward to seeing you there - and of course to an exciting conference!

    Florian
