Hello Anon,
Indeed there are more powerful editing programs out there as Kimberly indicated programs like Adobe Framemaker which are much better suited than using Word. Managing multiple versions of IFU for translation versions can always be challenging - no real easy way to do this either. It might be difficult finding an application that can both edit/manage your IFUs, and also manage multiple translation versions.

We use Adobe Framemaker for our IFUs. It is still a pain to do translations, but I imagine it may be easier with regards to formatting than Mircosoft Word. We send our Framemaker files in English to our translator, then they respond back with native Framemaker files. We export to a PDF and print them. Framemaker is also capable of creating HTMLs for digital copies of the IFUs.
Framemaker is enormously powerful, but it is also very complex and occasionally difficult to use. You would need to have someone specifically trained on how to use the software. We've been using it for years, and we don't even use it to the extent of its abilities.

Hello regulatory and writing experts
Do you know of a software or online website where you can generate IFUs?
We do create our IFUs using Microsoft world, but maintenance can be hard particularly when we have to update all the IFU translations.
I would love to know if there is anything out there that could make easy the updates on IFUs.
Thank you
