The RAPS Chicago Chapter has numerous opportunities to get more involved in the local regulatory community. Volunteering for your local RAPS Chapter is a great way to develop your leadership skills and expand your professional network.
Volunteer opportunities at the chapter level include:
- Registrar/Event Greeter: Welcome attendees to the event and sign them in is a great way to network.
- Facilities Scout: Work with the chapter leaders to identify appropriate facilities for chapter events.
- Content Creator: Write or curate short articles for Regulatory Focus that help share information, educate or enlighten the regulatory community. This might include an explanation of new regulations, a re‐cap of a presentation or other news worthy topics.
- Online Discussion Leader: Use the Regulatory Exchange platform to engage in online discussion with others.
- Evaluation Monitor: Remind everyone at chapter events to complete the online evaluations sent from headquarters. Work with chapter leaders to review and analyze evaluation responses so appropriate changes can be implemented.
The volunteer leaders review applications quarterly and will follow up when new opportunities become available.
