Regulatory Open Forum

Dear Reg Community,

Each year on Dec. 15th, the Vancouver Chapter likes to acknowledge the amazing Mr. Wesley Carr and all he has done for our Chapter and RAPS Chapters around the world. 

But 2020 is different. We couldn't have face-to-face meetings and our Chapter didn't manage to put together any events, and yet overall participation in the RAPS community actually went up (!) because of the ingenuity of Wes Carr and the RAPS team to foster online events and discussions. 

2020 taught the world about the drug and vaccine development process and the importance of our profession. And I am so very proud to be part of this community. 

So a sincere thank you to RAPS, and particularly Wes Carr, for keeping us informed and connected.

As an honorary member of the Vancouver Chapter and a long time Chapter Leader for NJ/NY, I second the idea of Wes Carr day.

I met Wes years ago (the NJ chapter started April 2003) and he has been supportive of chapters since his arrival at RAPS. 

Chapters are the life blood of our organization and it takes a unique individual to be able to support us. Thanks you Wes, and now Danielle, for your leadership.

Love this appreciation day!

Wes is a great help and friend to many, particularly when our SF Bay Area Chapter arranged several RAC Peer-Review Studies over the years. I know we could not have done many events without someone from RAPS who is engaged, interested and manages to be personable in his involvement.

All the best to my you Wes in the years ahead.
