Hi Yvette,
I used the RAC Devices Toolbox, the Devices textbook, and the practice exam. I didn't have time to join a study group.
I am sharing my powerpoint "From Scratch to Finish" with you. It contains my study method for the RAC exam. I passed the RAC (Devices) on my first attempt.
I received the exam result on the drugs exam today. I am now both RAC (Devices) and RAC (Drugs) certified : )
All the best to you!1
Best,
Charissa

I found that the most valuable tools were
1. Being in a study group. Previous study groups have created syllabi, that are helpful.
2. Practice exams, via RAPS, study groups, and Quizlet questions.
3. Google. Learn the topics you don't know about by reading things online. Some of my friends took RA classes on Coursera, Udacity, or other inexpensive platforms.
4. The RAPS courses from the study bundle. They aren't direct preparation for the exam, the material can be dated (e.g. the EU section in my version was at least half MDD), and the format-hours of PowerPoints narrated by a computerized text to speech program-is not everyone's cup of tea. But overall it's good info (not just for the exam) and more condensed than the book, and unlike the book has practice tests. Unfortunately your subscription expires after six months or so-you can still access your version but you won't get updates-and many people take longer than six months to study.
5. The book. I bought the book and didn't really use it. Actually I took too long to take the exam, and ended up buying TWO editions of the book, neither of which I used. It's an informative book-just with the other four study tools above it became superfluous. Plus it was a bit dense for my tastes.
There's no harm in making multiple attempts at the exam-I'd almost suggest do #1-3, take a crack at the exam, and if you don't pass then consider #4 and #5 and try again.

Hello!
Has anyone purchased either the RAC Devices Toolboxes or RAC Devices Complete Bundle to help prep for the exam? I am debating on which one to purchase.
Thanks!
