Yes. However, under these circumstances it is very important to understand the equipment that will be used and its qualification for performing the testing, especially if it is an endpoint of the study. At the very least, there should be a plan to harmonize the results since different equipment implies the potential for different normal ranges depending on the type of test it is. Based on the criticality of the testing, and again dependent on the type of testing, it may be worth it to ship samples to a central lab that will guarantee the same method globally.
