The RAPS Communications Advisory Committee supports RAPS as our organization educates the regulatory community — and the world — about what it means to work in regulatory affairs through social media, blog posts, and posts in Regulatory Exchange (RegEx), our online member community.
Members of our Communications Advisory Committee are responsible for giving feedback on and proposing ideas for RAPS communications, including social media, RegEx, and blog posts on RAPS.org.
Members of this committee will:
Meet regularly with RAPS staff and each other. This will happen on a monthly basis at first, and then will move to every other month.
Provide feedback on ideas and content for RAPS social media, RegEx, and RAPS.org to ensure messages are accurate.
Propose ideas for RAPS content on social media, RegEx, and RAPS.org.
Committee eligibility requirements:
Must be a RAPS member in good standing.
Must be interested in the ways our regulatory community communicates online. (This does not mean our members have to be social media power users, but they should be interested in helping RAPS communicate on social media.)
Must be available to give feedback on content on a regular schedule. A few hours per month to review and give feedback for content is ideal.
Must be comfortable providing constructive feedback on content
Must be prepared to work respectfully in a committee environment.
