Volunteer Opportunity Details

This year at the 2018 Convergence in Vancouver, BC we will host an inaugural first-timer welcome session on Tuesday, 2 October from 4:30-5:30 pm. The program will be facilitated by Sarah Michel, CSP, vice president, professional Connexity, Velvet Chainsaw Consulting. The goal of this event is to offer facilitated networking for first-time attendees, hosted by veteran attendees, to share ideas, strategies and short-cuts to enhance their experience. We recognize that one of the most valuable opportunities at Convergence will come from people meeting with one another, and we hope this will kick-start the experience of community and connections.

Sarah will host a 30-minute webcast on Tuesday, 18 September from 12:00-12:30 pm, Eastern to review the role of the host, but this will be informal nature and will require minimal advanced preparation.
