RAPS is currently seeking two candidates to fill open slots on the RAPS European Council (REC). We're looking for pharmaceutical professionals with at least 10 years of industry experience. Given the focus of this Council, applicants must be pharmaceutical industry professionals living and working in Europe.To Apply:
Charge:The RAPS European Council (REC) contributes to RAPS’ global strategy by working to create a sustainable presence for the organization in Europe. The Council guides RAPS efforts to advance and support the regulatory profession in Europe and serves as a resource for identifying professionals‘ needs, including regulatory, cultural, political and other relevant perspectives. As part of the overall strategy of advancing RAPS’ visibility in Europe, the REC is involved in numerous activities in the region aligned to the RAPS mission.Composition:The REC is comprised of 10 members including the Chair and Vice-Chair. Council members are experienced regulatory professionals from industry, academia or regulatory authorities with relevant work experience in Europe and are members of RAPS in good standing. The REC seeks a balanced representation of the industry segments served by RAPS, i.e. pharmaceuticals, biotech/biologicals and medical devices.Length of Service:Members are appointed by the REC Chair and Vice Chair and confirmed for a term of 2 years, which is renewable.Time Commitment:Council members are expected to participate in quarterly phone/video conferences and one or two in-person meetings per year.
