Volunteer with Your Local Chapter or Local Networking Group (LNG)
Join a Chapter or LNG team to help grow your local region and support ongoing efforts to deliver peer-to-peer networking and educational events for professionals in your area.

Volunteering is a rewarding way to give back to the regulatory affairs community while enhancing your leadership, event planning, and networking skills.

Opportunities Available

General Volunteer
Collaborate with your Chapter or LNG leadership team to support local or regional events.
Responsibilities may include:

  • Managing event logistics, such as running the registration desk
  • Finding and coordinating quality speakers
  • Presenting sessions or workshops
  • Assisting with general marketing efforts

Chapter/LNG Leadership Role
Take an active role in shaping the vision and direction of your Chapter or LNG. As a leader, you'll:

  • Develop strategic plans for the year
  • Oversee the execution of Chapter/LNG activities
  • Ensure compliance with Chapter/LNG governance
    Responsibilities may include event planning, venue sourcing, speaker engagement, and more.

Qualifications

  • Current RAPS member
  • Actively involved in the regulatory affairs industry
  • Reside in the geographical region of the Chapter/LNG

How to Get Started

Each Chapter or LNG selects its own volunteers. To express your interest, complete the attached form. Your information will be shared with the local Chapter or LNG representatives, who will reach out to discuss available opportunities. Final selection is at the discretion of the Chapter/LNG leadership team.
