Call for Course Reviewers - Supplier Management or Good Laboratory Practice

RAPS Online University provides regulatory professionals with education options to hone their skills in specific areas of expertise. We provide individual courses on a variety of regulatory topics, from the basics to product- and region-specific subjects. In order to ensure these courses are valuable and up-to-date, we recruit members to review and make recommendations on them. 

We are currently recruiting two (2) volunteers to review the following courses:

Good Laboratory Practice (GLP)
This opportunity is for an experienced individual with extensive knowledge and working in the field to develop, review and update content for our Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) course. This course provides an overview of GLP regulations as they are applied and interpreted by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). This course outlines the role of regulatory bodies involved in creating and improving GLPs, all sharing the goal of achieving human safety. Students will also gain an understanding of how GLPs fit into a quality system, what types of studies are covered and how GLPs in the US and international markets align.

Supplier Management
This opportunity is for an experienced individual with extensive knowledge and working in the field to develop, review and update content for our Supplier Management course. This course provides a basic understanding of current supplier management practices and their impact on product quality and patient safety. It covers a wide range of issues, including why regulations and guidance documents targeting supplier oversight are increasing in rigor; how companies ensure compliance; what are the basic roles and responsibilities of regulatory and quality professionals; and which are the most common regulatory issues stemming from poor supplier performance and weak supplier management. This course will help students understand the key risks associated with suppliers and how best to help their organizations as a regulatory professional.

Volunteers will review the course's content, as well as final assessment, and references and resources.
