RAPS is looking for authors for the January 2025 issue of Regulatory Focus, a monthly publication that delivers in-depth, peer-reviewed content on emerging issues in the global regulatory landscape.
The issue will focus on Advertising & Promotional Labeling (APL) and the role of global social media. Topics already assigned are mostly US-oriented and cover regulatory authority communications about compliance, unapproved new uses of medical products, and data that are not in an approved product label; social media communications; application of regulations within a digital medium; and AI and the future of the APL regulatory expert.
Possible additional topics could examine:
- Ad/promo regulations in the EU, Japan, China, or other regulatory regions around the world. Authors should provide an overview of the respective APL regulations and guidance, noting their inherent strengths and challenges as well as parallels and differences with the US if possible.
- Ad/promo enforcement in the EU or any other regulatory region, including a summary of actions and consequences for failing to comply with regulations, codes of practice, and so on.
Authors could earn 5 RAC recertification for their contributions.
